This paper is on Othello from Shakespeare. Othello will forever go down in the books as one of Shakespeare's most remarkable characters. Not only did he enjoy great success on the battlefield, but also he gained much respect in Venice as a most powerful general. "The Moor's military proficiency placed him in a class by himself in the same way his ethnicity distinguished him from his Venetian counterparts." (Harbage, 1964) He was a Black Moor but celebrated for the simplest things about him. In the end, it is those simple qualities; the romantic and aspect about himself, that eventually bring him to his end. In the play, he's a warrior; he's the epitome of a professional soldier. He risks his lifetime again in the war against the Turks. For Othello, the war is not simply a job or a task; it's a way of life. But Othello is also a common man, despite his great expertise as a soldier. Othello won great respect and admiration for many noble reasons, but it was mostly for his amiable personality and kindness that seemed endless. Othello achieves great satisfaction in his life, in part because of the power and respect he receives from others. His public image is one of great dignity and nobility; everyone seems to admire him. The Venetian senate unanimously approved of him.

117 Modern Japanese Women.
This paper discusses Japanese women and their culture. The identity of Japanese women has gone a long way. The rest of the world has assumed on her image and may still view them as servile and subjugated to men, but this image is only a faint memory of what these women have become since the mid-20th century. Although already equipped with higher education, postmodern Japanese women still learn, with updated and massive knowledge easily accessible through the electronic computer, the symbol of postmodernism itself. Not only is Japan a producer of highly saleable computer brands worldwide and its people highly computer literate: there are now women who create computer programs too, and thus fit the image of the postmodern Japanese woman, which has most definitely evolved into of dignity and prowess.

124 Cell Phone Technology in Pakistan.
This paper focuses on cell phone technology in Pakistan and the social and economic changes in Pakistan. Pakistan today is less than half its size three decades ago, and this reduction in size is the most important of the many and different changes that occurred in this country. It is more accurate to say that Pakistan is today a very different place from what it was only two generations ago (Zaidi 2002). Some social and economic changes that have occurred in Pakistan are obvious and some are subtle. The strong assertion is that it may have been feudal a century ago, but today, it is certainly not, despite its present social and economic relations of production and exchange (Zaidi). The relationship may also appear to be a variant of feudalism, and that is all. The stubborn assumption on its feudal image owes to the lack, insufficiency and infrequency of objective study, and whatever has been written (that it is not feudal) has not reached the awareness of those who make strong assertions that Pakistan is feudal.

237 "How to Watch Your Brother Die" An Analysis.
This paper is an analysis of the poem "How to Watch Your Brother Die," by Michael Lassell. It's given through the point of view of a heterosexual male. Homosexuality has historically been considered a mental disorder of a severe type. Homosexuals have been stereotyped as chronic depressants, alcoholics, pedophiles and suicidal. Hollywood movies played a big role in forming this negative image of homosexuals. Heterosexual males, in particular, have been the ones to place these labels on men.

278 A Look at Feminism in the Scarlet Letter.
This paper discusses feminism found in Hawthorne's Scarlet Letter. Hawthorne reveals a certain image of womanhood that stands out as a central theme; his message of feminism comes across in his main protagonist, Hester. We see her not only as a woman who has committed adultery, but as a woman standing for something bigger than that: Passion. Hawthorne gave women permission to feel passion, to be real, and to step away from what was considered "ideal" for the times.

856 Depression In Teens
This paper discusses teenagers and the theorists of Jean Piaget and Erik Erikson. A problem that affects approximately 5% of adolescents is depression. . "Out of 100,000 adolescents, two to three thousand will have mood disorders out of which 8-10 will commit suicide" (Brown 1996). The causes of depression in a teenager can stem from family problems, peer pressure and bullying, and changes in the teen's life. Other factors that might lead to depression in the adolescent are self-esteem issues, poor body image, stressful life events, and pubertal status (Marcotte, Fortin, Potvin, and Papillon 2002). "In the last two decades, depression among teenagers has emerged as a major mental health problem" (Marcotte, Fortin, Potvin and Papillon 2002).
