This paper is on customer service principles and practices of the Ultimate Beauty Center. It discusses the problems they were having and possible solutions. The Ultimate Beauty Center has had a relatively successful existence and share of the market in South Bend, Indiana, starting out as a small one-corner room facial beauty shop seven years ago. Since then, it gradually but steadily grew, sharing the market with only a few other shops in its immediate area, consisting of schools and offices. In the next 3 years, the hair and nail sections were added, and most of their customers were students and working women. Today, it has its own tastefully designed building with modern equipment and machinery, which have attracted an increasing number of customers from adjacent towns and states as well as problems resulting from the creation of a new and experimental department meant to handle customers' requirements.

202 In Absence of Real Love.
This paper compares the concept of love in the novels, Frankenstein and A Room With a View. Frankenstein and A Room with a View both give us a striking picture of love in its barest existence and even life without it. In each novel we see characters trying to measure up to something they are not; we see the strong desire for love and acceptance, the yearning for love in the eyes that these characters look up to, whether it's in a relationship or in a family. We see that the abdication of love has long-standing consequences no matter to what context in which it is found or lost.

311 Metaphors in Hamlet.
This paper discusses the use of metaphors used in Shakespeare's Hamlet. The use of metaphor, however, is a bit trickier and leaves much more room for individual interpretation. Literary scholars spend careers searching for hidden metaphors, and when they find them they spend even more time hypothesizing about what they mean. For metaphors, by their very nature, lack a clearly identifiable origin. The works of William Shakespeare are some of the most thoroughly analyzed works of literature that the world has ever known. Countless volumes have been written in attempts to decipher the meaning behind his plays and their characters, and perhaps no character has provided greater fodder for debate than Hamlet. In the following pages I will cite some examples of Shakespeare's use of metaphor in the first three Acts of Hamlet.

312 The Life of Henry Morrison Flagler.
This paper discusses the life and work of Henry Morrison Flagler. Henry Morrison Flagler was born in 1830 in Hopewell, New York. At the age of 14 he moved to Bellevue, Ohio, where he would eventually meet and become a partner of John D. Rockefeller in the Standard Oil Company. By the 1870's Standard Oil would make both Flagler and Rockefeller very wealthy men. After all but retiring from the oil business, Flagler made his first visit to Florida in 1878 with his ailing wife, Mary. Mary died in 1881 and two years later Flagler married his second wife, Ida Alice Shrouds. The couple visited St.Augustine, and while Flagler saw the potential of St.Augustine for attracting tourists, he found the hotel and transportation facilities there to be poor. By 1885 Flagler returned to St.Augustine and began construction of the 540 room Hotel Ponce de Leon. In order to ensure proper transportation, Flagler also purchased the Jacksonville, St.Augustine & Halifax Railroad. This was the first of several railroad purchases Flagler was to make.

646 Hospitals and Rights As Patients.
Every hospital should not have the legal right to deny seriously ill and injured the patients the care needed for a stable recovery. If they do, they will be fined or lose privileges from Medicare services. A young woman had high fever of 104* F. and was doubled over in pain. Her husband took her to the nearest hospital that was privately owned. They asked for insurance papers and the couple stated that they did not have insurance, because his work did not provide insurance for the family. The couple sat in the waiting room for over three hours to see the doctor. Finally, the husband asked why they had not been seen because several people had been seen with less weight time. They were told that they probably would not get service because they did not have any insurance. The young couple left to go to another hospital, but on the way the young woman died from a busted gallbladder.

860 The Approaches to Renting Property
Renting multifamily residential homes have various needs in order to make profits for the individual owners when managed by real estate companies. There are several approaches in considering the actual income of the multifamily units. There are two types of multiple living units: the larger homes that are rented by the room that houses two or more unrelated adults or the multifamily unit under individual ownership. Many college towns have both of these because the high need of housing. There are several costs in renting these that must be considered if rented by the owner or real estate companies. One approach is the sale comparison approach. It is often difficult because many of the multifamily units are not similar enough to compare which makes appraisals difficult to do. Often individuals buy these homes as a one family home and turn them into multifamily units. Their finding was that this would not be an accurate way of determining income (Dettbar and Johnson 41).

This paper discusses the observation of an emergency room crisis and observation of a woman's shelter for domestic violence. Often observations are used in the study of science and psychology. A person can learn a lot from observation. The elderly, a little boy, and an ambulance are part of the observation of the emergency rooms crisis. The Moss House is a shelter for women who have been domestically abused and have no place to go. After explaining my assignment, they give me special permission to visit during one of their meetings. The shelter is large with several rooms upstairs and several downstairs. The meeting room is in the dining area.
