This paper focuses on the Jenny Craig Diet. The Jenny Craig Diet is a very popular and proven fat control program that has been offered in the market by Jenny Craig, Inc, considered one of the largest weight management services in the world. The Program combines eating the right foods, exercising, and balancing one's life. (Cable News Network 2001) According to its creator, it focuses on lifestyle itself, not the short-term or quick fix methods offered by other Programs. Clients are subjected personal one-on-one consultations at its centers in four countries where the clients' individual requirements are discussed and their balanced diet menus are planned.

89 Suicide and Adolescents.
This is paper discusses the problem of suicide and teenagers. In Dr. David Lester's book, "The Cruelest Death: the Enigma of Adolescent Suicide" he goes into detail the serious problems leading to teenage suicide. He presents alarming findings of fact about the third leading cause of death in the USA among those below 24 -- suicide. It points to the recent and dramatic rise in the incidence of the last 20 years as suggestive of an epidemic (Lester 1993) that warrants greater attention and sobriety among those who can and should do something about it. It is a frank inquest into the social phenomenon by providing information support to theory, research, management and intervention helpful to professionals - particularly clinicians, crisis workers and parents -- and the entire family with greater insights that can help them device more effective, responsive and successful strategies in the clinic, school and at home, all with the end-view of reversing the trend.

114 Chinese And Western Business Cultures.
This paper discusses the role of the World Trade Organization, China, and various western business cultures. When China joined the World Trade Organization, the whole world wondered what the details of the agreement would be and how trade tariffs and quotas would be established (Liu and MacKinnon, 2001), considering the universal awareness of the utterly different management concept it had from the others in the negotiation table. Even then, serious observers were of the consensus that the divergence between Eastern and Western business styles would grow less and less with time and on account of globalization, increasing world trade and growing freedom of capital flows (Liu and MacKinnon).

129 A Good Life: Newspapering and Other Adventures.
This is a book report on "A Good Life: Newspapering and Other Adventures." A book about a newspaperman who wanted to make a presence in print. "Newsmakers are increasingly liars," the author states from the very beginning, and the CIA make a mess when they "try to make things happen." (Bradlee, 1995) These are strong statements, which seemed to be the thesis and central theme throughout the book. Many people would say the same thing about the press, too. Mr. Bradlee has lots of strong opinions about several different topics, but pay attention because they sometimes change. It is odd that Bradlee never blames the press itself for the growth of the celebrity culture that he laments. But he brags about wanting anyone and everyone to talk about his paper. I enjoyed this book for it's look inside the life of a journalistic, but I believe another book could have done it without all the frills.

132 America's Melting Pot.
This paper is on America as a melting pot due to the assimilation of immigrants in America. Today, huge numbers of Americans are of mixed cultures. Many do not fit the limiting categories of race such as White, Black or Negro, American Indian or Alaskan Native, and Asian or Pacific Islander -- outlined in Statistical Directive 15, which was adopted in 1978 by the Office of Management and Budget and used in the 1990 U.S. Census of the Population. A rising number of Americans are "Multiracial-Americans." This making the term "melting pot" even more appropriate. The people of this country are most of a mixture of several different cultures; the backgrounds of our citizens cannot be reduced to one label or another. To be "American" now means a "melting" of several different ethnic categories.

175 Database Normalization.
This paper is on database normalization. In 1970, Dr. E.F. Codd's seminal paper "A Relational Model for Large Shared Databanks" was published in Communications of the ACM. This paper introduced the topic of data normalization, so-named because, at the time, President Nixon was normalizing relations with China. At first glance, Database normalization seems fairly simple. It's a technique used to ensure that there is only one way to know a fact. Removing all structures that prove more than one way to know the same fact as represented in a database relation table does this. So, the goal of database normalization is to control and eliminate redundancy. One of the more complicated topics in the area of database management is the process of normalizing the tables in a relational database.
