Amongst the existing four popularized models: Credit Metrics, Credit Risk+, KMV and Credit Portfolio View, KMV model is the most often employed as a form of credit risk modeling. Historical financial data and testing suggests that the Credit Metrics model may have traits, which supersede the benefits offered by KMV in certain circumstances
